Pyrrhotite
Reverted unsourced and inaccurate change regarding magnetism as a function of iron fraction by IP 197.230.122.194 on 17 Mar. 2023 (oldid=1145109990). Though perhaps counterintuitive, it's indeed a ratio of Fe:S *less* than unity which produces ferromagnetism roughly in proportion to the Fe deficit, as sources and article body indicate. Mackinawite (Fe_(1+x)S , where x=[0 to 0.11]) also avoids troilite's antiferromagnetism, but is paramagnetic rather than ferromagnetic.current

Amended to clarify details of Nature Geosciences article "Chicxulub impact winter sustained by fine silicate dust" by Senel et al. "Comet dust" isn't really the most appropriate descriptor here as that term generally implies small-sized comet matter that is in outer space; much of the material ejected by the K-T impact was sourced from the Earth itself; and the impactor wasn't necessarily (& probably wasn't; cf. https://arxiv.org/abs/2105.08768) a comet, as opposed to a carbanaceous asteroid.

The linked-to reliable-sources policy unambiguously states "Never use self-published sources as independent sources about other living people, even if the author is an expert, well-known professional researcher, or writer." But also, on which page(s) of "Niger Republic: Political and Economic Environment HIstory" by Max Belton ( ISBN 978-1-365-72033-8 ) are the relevant assertions made? Where can one find other work by Max Belton which suggests they're a reliable journalist? Let's use Talk page.Tag: Manual revert

Manually reverted unsourced changes to position (there's no settlement whatsoever at indicated location) and implied population/areal extent of Kabkabiya in North Darfur by IP user 197.237.233.211 . Also down-adjusted Kabkabiya's indicative dot size to 16: third-party maps (e.g. https://ontheworldmap.com/sudan/sudan-political-map.jpg ) and satellite imagery (Google Maps, etc.) show Kabkabiya's built-up area is considerably smaller than that of ND capital al-Fashir and it lacks an airport.

Kenya does not border Sudan. And the source article doesn't actually state that the Sudan-Ethiopia land border remains open in either direction (nor even that anyone has claimed it does), but simply reads: "Chad closed its border with Sudan while Ethiopia and Kenya called for restraint."

The wave equation is not limited to describing standing waves. First sentence of Introduction section had replaced the simple "...describing waves" with "...describing standing wave field..." which is badly misleading. Preserved explicit mention of standing waves here at the cost of arguable redundancy.

11GW nuclear generation planned in total. Not 88GW. Cited source itself states 18.4GW is current average Iraqi electric power output (incl. 1.2GW imports) and ~28GW current average implied demand, with projected demand of ~42GW by 2030. Current most-powerful deployed reactor designs don't exceed even 2GW per unit; e.g. see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nuclear_power_stations .

Ultra-high-energy cosmic ray
Miscellaneous minor amendments. "Cosmic ray electrons" appear widely studied and mentioned by that name in the literature. Should they be separately mentioned in the lead section and/or a separate article created to avoid confusion, given the ~10,000-fold quotient in defining energy scale?

Ultra-high-energy cosmic ray
UHE gamma rays are not equivalent to UHE cosmic rays, though they may be related by energy/momentum-transfer events at least in many cases. Given citation doesn't seem to explicitly support the claim written, but other sources likely do. But also the cited ~10^14eV "UHE electrons" are technically not the ≥10^18eV "UHE cosmic rays" of this article's definition.

Crab Nebula
Gamma rays are not to be confused with "cosmic rays"; CR are those emissions inferred to be massive particles (protons & maybe heavier nuclei), rather than photons which have zero rest-mass. In particular UHEγ ≡ ≥10^14 eV , while UHECR ≡ ≥10^18 eV.

Specified relevant angular resolution as given by Wright. I conservatively state "containing" rather than "centered on" Proxima, as the latter can't be unambiguously derived from Wright's prose, but (too naively?) infer the host study's flare measurements at shorter wavelengths would've required that it be at least very nearly centered.
