REWROTE LEAD TO SUMMARISE ARTICLE. No material in lead that's absent below, no description/analysis without source, please. Note, the term lit crit has formal meaning—see literary criticism article—which doesn't match Popova's intellectual trajectory. (Only near mention in article—Popova's "Literary Jukebox"—isn't literary critiicism). Decribe her in lead, not as you think of her or as she self-describes, but as ARTICLE does—and from there as the cited, reliable 3rd-party refs describe her.

Addressed plagiarised content. Now defunct whoandwhom.com article URL was dead so updated, but was cribbed without quotation, and did not support *all* the content preceding it. So, quote added, sourced separatedfrom unsourced content, and the content sourced to that article was tagged, as this was an anonymous celebrity bio site, and not an encyclopedic source. Then, removed statement indicating knowledge of personal email communique, bec no source cited. Please, follow WP:VERIFY, WP:ORt
