Topshows waren dieses Jahr Mary Tyler Moore und Das Haus am Eaton Place, die die Hauptkategorien gewannen. Mary Tyler Moore gewann auch mit fünf die meisten Awards. M*A*S*H führte mit neun die Nominierungsliste an, bekam aber lediglich einen Award.
