The ((Discussion top)) and ((Discussion bottom)) templates are used to close discussions on a talk page or a noticeboard.
When used on a talk page, these templates should only be used by uninvolved editors or administrators in conjunction with the talk page guidelines and relevant advice at Wikipedia:Refactoring. They should not be used by involved parties to end a discussion over the objections of other editors.
Place ((Discussion top))
below the header containing the discussion, then place ((Discussion bottom))
at the end of the discussion. A summary of the conclusions reached may be included as a parameter in the former.
Again: Place them below the header. Do not include the header, it will break archiving bots!
