Sam Beazley (29 March 1916 – 12 June 2017) was a British actor. He began acting as a teenager in the 1930s. He appeared with John Gielgud in productions of Hamlet (1934) and Romeo and Juliet (1935).[1]

He returned to acting when he was 75. Since then has appeared in a variety of stage and movie productions. In his 90s, he became a painter.[2][3] He was known for his role as Everard in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007).

Beazley died on 12 June 2017 at the age of 101.[4]
