Otago (/əˈtɑːɡoʊ/ (listen), /oʊ-, ɒ-/^[3]; Māori: Ōtākou [ɔːˈtaːkou]) is one of the 16 regions of New Zealand. It is on the South Island. Its largest city is Dunedin.
