Flag Coat of arms Losino-Petrovsky (Russian : Лосино-Петровский ) is a town in Moscow Oblast , Russia . In 2010, 22,550 people lived there.
In 1708, a factory for the production of elk leather uniforms was founded by Peter the Great . The village was around the factory called Losinaya Petrovskaya (Лосиная Петровская ). The factory existed until 1858, when many other textile factories were created. In 1928, it was granted urban-type settlement status. In 1951, it was given town status.
