Kim Hyun-Soo

Kim Hyun-Soo (born Jan 12, 1988 in Seoul, South Korea) is a professional baseball player. He plays with the South Korean baseball club Doosan Bears. He bats left handed. He throws right handed.

Hyun-Soo graduated from Ssang-Moon Elementary School, Shin-Il Middle School, and Shin-Il High School. When he was a high school student, he received the Lee Young-Min Award, for being the leading hitter in baseball at the high school level. He was slow for an outfielder. He was not selected in the rookie draft.

In 2007, Hyun-Soo played 99 games. His batting average was at 0.273. In 2008, he played 126 games, made 168 hits, his on base percentage was 0.509 and his batting average was 0.357. He was given titles for the highest on base percentage, hit and batting average. He also was given the Golden Glove award for outfielders.
