HD 189733 b is an exoplanet. It is approximately 64.5 light years away from the Solar System.[1] It is a hot Jupiter. It was found in the constellation of Vulpecula. It was discovered orbiting the star HD 189733 on October 5, 2005.[2] It has a mass 13% higher than that of Jupiter. HD 189733 b orbits HD 189733 once every 2.2 days. It has an orbital speed of 152.5 kilometres per second (341,000 mph).[3]
