Brainerd is a city in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, United States. Its population was 14,395 at the 2020 census.[1] It is the county seat of Crow Wing County,[2] and is one of northern Minnesota's largest cities. The city is famous for the 1996 movie Fargo being partly set there.[3]
