"Black Hole Sun" is a 1994 grunge song by the American grunge band Soundgarden, from their fourth studio album Superunknown, which was released in 1994. The song was written by Chris Cornell. It is a playable song in the video game, Rock Band.[1]
The song won the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance and it was also nominated for Best Rock Song.[2] The music video for Black Hole Sun won a MTV Video Music Award for Best Metal/Hard Rock Video in 1994.[3]
