Wilmer C. “Bill” Butler, A.S.C. (April 7, 1921 – April 5, 2023) was an American cinematographer part of the New Hollywood generation. He shot Jaws (1975) and the first three Rocky sequels. He also completed 1974's The Conversation as well as 1975's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest after Haskell Wexler was fired from both productions. Butler died just two days prior to his 102nd birthday.
