Aspidorhynchus acutirostris

Aspidorhynchiformes is an extinct order of ray-finned fish that lived from the Middle Jurassic to the late Paleocene. They only have one family, Aspidorhynchidae. The most famous is Aspidorhynchus.

The Aspidorhynchiformes are best known for their elongated, pointy rostrums. They are formed from fused premaxillary bones.
