Inocybe (Fr.) Fr., Monographia Hymenomycetum Sueciae 2: 346 (1863) è un genere di funghi appartenenti alla famiglia Inocybaceae. È un genere molto omogeneo, quindi è difficile distinguere le specie senza l'ausilio del microscopio. Sono funghi terricoli, generalmente di piccola taglia.

Descrizione

Cappello: umbonato, fibrilloso, con velo generale non distinto dalla cuticola su cui si forma una fugace cortina marginale.
Lamelle: ocracee
Spore: lisce ed angolose
Cistidi: tronchi e coperti da cristalli di ossalato di calcio.
Odore: molto vario, a volte spermatico, altre volte fruttato (es.: pere), oppure di mandorla, di terra, di pesce etc.
