District in Lorestan, Iran
Zaz and Mahru District (Persian : بخش زز و ماهرو ) is in Aligudarz County , Lorestan province, Iran . Its capital is the city of Shulabad .[ 3]
After the 2006 National Census, the village of Shulabad-e Sofla merged with several villages to establish the city of Shulabad .[ 4]
At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 11,440 in 1,982 households.[ 5] The following census in 2011 counted 11,188 people in 2,257 households.[ 6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 9,584 inhabitants in 2,455 households.[ 2]
