Zalaqi District (Persian: بخش ذلقي), formerly Besharat District (بخش بشارت), is in Aligudarz County, Lorestan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the city of Titkan,[4] transferred from the village of Kish Olya (Kish Bazanvid).[3]
At the 2006 National Census, its population (as Besharat District) was 9,907 in 1,673 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 9,703 people in 1,783 households.[6] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 8,346 inhabitants in 1,988 households.[2]
After the census, the name of the district was changed to Zalaqi District.[4]
