Welcome to the Marvel Comics work group of the Comics WikiProject!

This task force/work group deals specifically with the characters, publications, storylines, locales, and, to a lesser extent, creators of comics published by Marvel Comics, as well as these characters, etc., appearances in other media.

Good databases:

• Grand Comics Database - good breadth and depth. Templates: ((gcdb)) and ((gcdb series))
• Comic Book DB - similar good coverage with a cleaner and more accessible front end. Template: ((comicbookdb))
• Big Comic Book DataBase - useful as a back-up but coverage isn't as wide but it may be deeper for some titles
• CBDB - another option but a bit less user-friendly
• UXN - a fairly comprehensive database in regards to X-men related books. Full synopsizes, character biographies, and creator information.

Useful for news, reviews and interviews:

• Newsarama - good for news updates and announcements as well as interviews
• Comic Book Resources - ditto
• Comics Bulletin
• Broken Frontier - can be another useful source for reviews
