• Their name is in Category:Wikipedians in Bedfordshire
• They have Template:User Bedfordshire on there userpage
• They make a large contribution to an article that falls under our scope.
• They create an article which falls under our scope.
• They make a small contribution to a Bedfordshire article that would require local knowledge
• They are a member of a similar WikiProject (e.g. WP:HERTS)

If your user falls under one of these categories (they don't have to, these are just suggestions), please consider placing this on their talk page:

Hopefully, this will provide them with sufficient information about the project and also convince them to join.

• Don't template like mad! Only send it to users who you think would like to join, not just random ones :)
• The example above is not substituted, so where there is 'BASEPAGENAME' there would be the name of the potential member.
• If they do join, please check the list is kept alphabetized.
• Users who gain allot of new members for the project may be a candidate for the WikiProject Bedfordshire barnstar
