Welcome to WikiProject Admin Nominators. This group is dedicated to supporting editors who are interested in acting as nominators for potential administrators, as part of the Requests for Adminship process. This page and its subpages will contain resources and host discussions. If you would like to participate, please join the project, participate in the discussions on the talk page and see the list of tasks below. Participation in the project is entirely informal and voluntary, and is in no way a prerequisite for nominating.
Aims and scope
Nominators are an important but poorly supported part of the RfA process. This project was created to support existing nominators and to encourage editors to start nominating. Functions include:
to act as a forum for discussing nomination-related matters, such as methods of identifying potential candidates, investigating potential candidates, writing nomination statements;
to inform and encourage editors who would like to participate as nominators, and to recruit new nominators.
to track progress towards nomination milestones which would stem our declining administrator numbers.
