Appears to be one of the ten individuals blocked as a result of Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Pats2001.

Evidence

User:Xcstar has devoted some 140 out of his 150 total edits to the Dane Rauschenberg article, and several other associated pages. Xcstar appeared during the Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Pats2001 case, in which ten separate users were blocked, for their cordinated acticities regarding this oner article and its then current AfD. Xcstar had been listed, but was too new to demonstrate a definite editing pattern consistent with the other sockpuppets.

In this edit on my talk page, Xcstar seems to be indicating that he believes that he is a legitimate sockpuppet, but a sockpuppet nonetheless.

Comments

The subject of the article Dane Rauschenberg describes himself as a 185 lb. post-collegiate boxer. He has evidenced a short temper. Accordingly, it is prudent to follow the policy "A person editing an article which is highly controversial within his/her family, social or professional circle, and whose Wikipedia identity is known within that circle, or traceable to their real-world identity, may wish to use an alternate account in order to avoid real-world consequences from their involvement in that area" to avoid a violent confrontation with the subject. I am not one of the people blocked in the the Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Pats2001 case (as indicted in the checkuser findings there), and my involvement was prompted by all of the vandalism and sockpupetry evidence in the past on that article. I have not used this sign-on to create multiple votes or to violate any Wikipedia policy. Rather my objective has been to clean up the continued WP:COI edits being made by Mr. Rauschenberg. My edits have been geared toward removing autobiographical normative statements seeking to place Mr. Rauschenberg is an unduely favorable light. Xcstar (talk) 20:59, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Conclusions

Xcstar is listed as the master and the puppet here...???? Also, the RFCU found he was an unrelated user in that case and he was not blocked. Closing.22:19, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
