Evidence

Wiivolution account has not edited a single article not edited by Rlk89 for two years; History of video game consoles (seventh generation) in May/June 2006 ([1], [2]) for example, Mario Kart Wii in 2006 ([3], [4]), and numerous other edits in 2006 and early 2007; Wiivolution account returns after a long hiatus today to remove a CSD template from an article created by Rlk89.

Comments

Definitely indef-block Wiivolution as a confirmed sock puppet, and block Rlk89, the main account, for a brief time (24 hours) to teach him a lesson. The overall pattern of evidence is compelling: both accounts have edited the same articles over a period of one and a half years.

There is a huge smoking gun here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sizes of Virtual Console titles. An IP address beginning with 69 voted to keep the article. Then both of the suspected sockpuppets voted to "Keep per 69" within one minute of each other. Shalom (HelloPeace) 16:32, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Conclusions

Good work, the piece added by Shalom really nails it. Blocked the sock Wiivolution indef and upon iridescent's recommendation, Rlk89 for 31 hours (I'd have gone longer myself). RlevseTalk 22:23, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
