Evidence

R.T.Gellar was created two hours after the last checkuser was run. Their second edit was to create a user page. On their first day of editing they redid changes that were previously done by confirmed Jvolkblum sock KevinMcAllister (talk · contribs) on The Westchester ([1] [2]) and The Source at White Plains ([3] [4]). On the next day they proposed restoring material that had been inserted into the article by Jvolkblum socks three different times ([5] [6] [7]). Jvolkblum has a history of copying editors that have dealt with them. The edit summary for this edit is: "Undid revision 218770899 by Ed Fitzgerald (talk) WIKIFY;removed external links in body of article (see Wikipedia:Externa". This is a copy of edit summary I made in an edit to City School District of New Rochelle. It is not a coincidence as their edit summary refers to wikifying, but there was no wikification. Their use of the edit summary predates them having made an edit to City School District of New Rochelle. The rest of their edits have been to Jvolkblum's area of interest.

Marcello Khattar was created at 00:04 on 23 June 2008. All of their edits have been to Sarah Lawrence College, one of Jvolkblum's main areas of interest. Their first edit was to restructure Sarah Lawrence College campus which Jovlkblum sock's have done repeatedly and their second edit was to insert pictures uploaded by a Jvolkblum sock. Marcello Khattar commented out a reference that Sarah Lawrence College is in Yonkers, Jvolkblum has attempted to remove mentions and references that Sarah Lawrence College is in Yonkers since the first sockpuppetry case. Patrick O'Neil was created one minute after Marcello Khattar. Their only edit so far, has been to restore changes made to an article by R.T.Gellar.

Comments I have read this accusation against me and attest that there is no merit behind this claim. I do not understand most of the references made to past events or varied users. Any edits that I have been in the realm of good faith and positive, certainly not meriting any suspect questioning. My impetus behind contributing is purely linked to where I reside and my interest base. I live in New Rochelle and formerly from Stamford CT during my youth. To respond to the individual claims as throughly as I can: 1) As mentioned above, I edited the location of the Westchester and the Source at White Plains because it was misrepresented by an earlier contributor. I have accessed wikipedia numerous times in the past, not only to read up on information but to explore the varied features and aspects linked to the articles. It does not take a genius to comprehend the tracking structure of user edits for each article. I noted the location of the shopping malls were corrected and they reverted, or re 'incorrected' if you will. 2) I have read about Wikipedia policy and rules and dont quite understand the violation behind trying to apply the rules and learn how to edit? Encyclopedias are not tools for individual or business self-promotion and advertisement. Unfortunately the site is frequently misused for that purpose. One clear example is to link articles to non-wikipedia pages or articles, such as in the case with the Irvington New York article I edited. It was filled with extraneous links to schools, private schools, private organization sites and religious institutions. That information belongs in the "See also" or "extraneous links" sections at the bottom of the pages. I should also note that the user i edited and warned used a rather intimidatory tone when informing me of just who is boss on the site (ie: him, because of his history of edits) which he then used as leverage to justify that 'personal judgement' can be made in light of wiki policy. No where in this scenerio did I use any language or wording that isnt found directly within these policies. 3) I have also edited and worked to contribute to neighboring towns which are within my area of personal experience. Bronxville is one example. As I discussed in the talk-page area, I saw interesting and relevant information relating to zip-code issues and the information later was removed. I questioned where the infomation went because it was not only interesting and relative to the page, but it was also pertinent to the topic that many prior people have quarreled over to some extent or another. 4) I have also made contributions to the New Rochelle schools pages because they require improvement. These pages in particular were tagged quite heavily. It was my understanding that the tags serve such a purpose to grab user attention with specified calls for improvement. That is what I did. 5) Finally, I have made other contributions on here so far that show personal focus, energy and desire to become a good editor. (one example is creating a template for New Rochelle similar to those that exist for Buffalo and Utica) Personally, I was rather proud of my contributions to this point however being faced with this and having to defend myself is quite frustrating. It is both unwarranted and unsubstantiated and I hope will be corrected. Sincerely, Rebecca Teresa Gellar
