User:King_Genovese has been blocked twice for the repeated creation of numerous articles on non-notable individuals affiliated with crime (usually in or around the New York City area). As a fairly active NPP, I caught quite a number of his articles and tagged for CSD/Prod or nominated for merge/deletion at AfD. I requested the second block of User:King_Genovese, but just now a couple of very similar articles have popped up on NPP (1 and 2, also related to NYC crime and citing the same website as some of User:King_Genovese's articles. These articles were created by User:Evan12345678910, a username which has become active again after KG's second block. Based on this, I believe these two accounts may be either run by a sockmaster or otherwise affiliated. --IShadowed 21:25, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm quite familiar with "King Genovese", afd'd a number of their articles, and in my opinion the style and content of Evans123....'s contributions looks indentical to KG's.TheLongTone (talk) 21:45, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This user is creating new articles about mobsters of dubious notability, referenced to wikis or web forums:

This is exactly the same behaviour that King Genovese was blocked for. — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 17:54, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

entire edit history matches King Genovese's pattern of creating poorly sourced articles on mobsters who almost always fall short of notability. Can't find too many diffs due to deletions, but the previous sock investigation should give an idea. Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 21:06, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Also wondering if there's a connection with the ip that dropped a cock photo on my talk page after I dropped "King Luciano" a warning. Said warning was reverted, as was KG's style. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 18:28, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Similarly to King Genovese and his sockpuppets, JoeyZasa11 has created several biographies of mobsters of dubious notability sourced to websites that don't pass WP:RS. Also JoeyZasa11 shares a trait with King Luciano (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) of adding ungrammatical apostrophes. Compare e.g. JoeyZasa11's "He also voiced in Planet Hulk (film) and Medal of Honor as Gen. Flagg and also all of the Dead Rising game's."[1] to this diff by KL. There are plenty of other examples in the history if needed. — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 15:21, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Same MO of non-noteables. Of note is his username referencing an apparently-fictitious mobster he wrote an article for. Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 05:24, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Same editing patterns as KG - non-noteable mobsters and actors. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 17:18, 3 November 2012 (UTC) Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 17:18, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A further update - the user is now uploading numerous probable copyvios with laughable own-work claims. Now sure how to proceed, but going to yell at him anyway. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 03:44, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Matches KG's habit of poorly sourced or otherwise bad mob articles. Frank Diecidue has no reliable sources, and the sources for Vincent LoScalzo do not back the bizarre claim he was an underboss at age 17.

The puppet master is not above grandiose claims - I guess impersonating a real writer isn't too much of a stretch. Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 20:05, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
