Suspected sockpuppets

Please see SPI on Tracescoops for background. CaptainYuge account just came into being, the day after the Tracescoops account was identified as a sock. I filed the SPI that led to that happening. I have been working on the RepRap project article, which has generally been going OK, when this user showed up and started edit warring, as Tracescoops sock did at the Peyton Manning article. There are behavioral parallels already between Tracescoops and CaptainYuga.

Tracescoops ended up completely personalizing the original content dispute, and went all-in for drama as opposed to trying to resolve the content issue:

So about CaptainYuge. First as I said, they came into being the next day after Tracescoops was blocked, and started arguing with edits I had made on the RepRap article. Really different from other editors who had worked there before. They very quickly personalized the content dispute:

Meanwhile they are just not discussing the actual content that they supposedly were upset about. instead on the talk page they have added notice of the ANI filing (like Tracescoops did) and about another noncontent issue.. This is exactly how Tracescoops proceeded at the Peyton Manning article, quickly moving beyond the content dispute, and into interpersonal dispute, to the dramaboard, and completely lost focus on the content under discussion. I can't make sense out of the intensity here, except that CaptainYuge is Tracescoops/Rowssusan. Jytdog (talk) 21:56, 15 March 2016 (UTC) Jytdog (talk) 21:56, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I did this really quickly.... just wanted to get a quick CU on this before it becomes another huge ANI thread and sucks up a lot of community time, like Tracescoops last ANI filing did. Jytdog (talk) 22:02, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Like tracescoops, they also did pretty remarkably advanced things for a new user, like this request for PP. Jytdog (talk) 22:08, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's nice that I was notified of this instead of finding it in the user's edit history. I have no idea who this guy is nor do I care. I found the RepRap article off a news search and made an account on a lark; I normally edit (rarely) anonymously over the many long years. Perhaps Jytdog ought to be investigated for edit warring and arbitrarily trying to con perceived "new" users with his personal policy of content standards for the encyclopedia. He's apparently gone ballistically angry at me for actually challenging him on them, as seen here: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:RepRap_project&diff=prev&oldid=710258535 CaptainYuge (talk) 22:27, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not angry. It would be helpful, whether you are a sock or not, if you discussed the specific bits of content and sourcing you are disagreeing with at the article Talk page. Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 22:34, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I am perfectly willing to discuss edits when you cite the exact policies that justify your repeated edit warring removal of sourced content and what policy supports your "real world impact" or "real world application" standards. You seem to be soapboxing. Wasn't that WP:SOAPBOX? CaptainYuge (talk) 22:36, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for that further bit of behavioral evidence - the same thing you did above by parroting my language about "ballistic". This is the same kind of parroting/mocking behavior in which Tracescoops engaged, that was all about flaming and not about resolving the underlying content issues. Example of Tracescoops doing that are here, here, and here. Jytdog (talk) 22:40, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is tiresome and reminds me why I barely bother to engage on Wikipedia any longer. To any checkuser: go ahead; you have permission to IP check me. I'm not this apparent archenemy of this jytdog person. It's no wonder that Wikipedia user numbers and contributions still continue to crater year upon year. With a welcoming crew like Jytdog, it's to be expected. CaptainYuge (talk) 22:50, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have archenemies that I chase around. There appears to be an editor who is chasing me around, however. Jytdog (talk) 03:08, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
A little more respect, please, Jytdog. I do believe that CaptainYage is the very first human being in history to proclaim their innocence when accused of some wrongdoing. If I'm not mistaken, this new strategy is likely to catch on big time -- look for it in children's bedrooms, classrooms, police stations, courtrooms, legislatures and theatres near you! It has been confirmed that "CaptainYuge does have a second account"[1] but according to CaptainYuge, they "Decided to join after years of anonymously helping...".[2] I believe the account CaptainYuge was created to avoid public scrutiny since CaptainYuge claimed to not have not created an account before and was editing "anonymously". CaptainYuge claimed "I told jytdog I edited for years on and off by IP. I finally made an account because why not? "[3] QuackGuru (talk) 00:05, 17 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I created my second account after you special people began to swarm and attack me like crazy to get away from all of you. I literally couldn't care less about this stupid reprap page beyond being curious about. Have fun with the wiki. I'll be as far away from you weirdos as is possible. Now I'm going to randomly hash the password to this captainyuge one. Don't bother replying or trying to find me because that would be harassment and stalking.
