Suspected sockpuppets

[edit]

I moved Teri Laadli Main a few days back to Draft:Teri Laadli Main which was created by user:Yashse since it wasn't ready for mainspace. Today I found User:Aleyamma38 creating the page in mainspace again. While analyzing their common edits as suggested by Interaction timeline and interaction analyzer, I found a lot of common edits by them apart from the page I moved to draft. It appears the two users exclusively edits Star Bharat and Colors TV related articles and it is least likely to be coincidence. Possible ducks, requesting CU intervention. ☆★Mamushir (✉✉) 16:03, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Requested Sir/Madam, As mentioned by Mamushir, it is true that I have created the article Teri Laadli Main, but I have created the article following every Wikipedia guidelines I could, to make the article meet all the criteria for an article of a mainspace article. I do not know if there still exists, any drawbacks in the article and if there exists; my extreme apologies for that mistake. Other than that, to be suspected as a sockpuppet, I cannot promis that, I have not used different IP address, because during some occasions, either due to power failure or due to problems in lan wi-fi. I have used my mobile data net. However, I have always ensured to login into my account before enabling any edits in Wikipedia. So, I kindly request the respective investigating Wikipedian Admins to please investigate my case using Checkuser tool ((SPI case status|curequest)). Thank you. --Aleyamma38 (talk) 16:27, 26 December 2020 (UTC) I kindly request Mamushir, if I made a mistake by creating Teri Laadli Main, then please delete the article. I assure I will not commit such mistakes again. --Aleyamma38 (talk) 16:54, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets

Aleyamma38 (talk · contribs) was blocked in April 2021 for WP:BATTLEFIELD and WP:IDHT behavior (see [1] for details, [2] for prior ANI around this editor). They actively edited Priyanka Choudhary and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Priyanka Choudhary, where you can see in the collapsed portions examples of why they were blocked, including insisting on the notability and some mild insults ("...tried to remove for some INVALID, IMMORAL, VAGUE REASONS") bold in the original. Aleyamma38 used bold frequently for emphasis - see the ANI discussion for plenty of examples. In that ANI discussion, Aleyamma38 blames other editors, accusations of WP:HOUNDING, admin abuse and bias. A common theme around others acting in bad faith is evident.

In March 2022, Commonedits was created. They quickly got involved in a dispute on Chahat Pandey (see talk page, right from the start). Their behavior on that article and others resulted in several blocks [3], the latest on June 28th for a month. They've made several edits to Draft:Priyanka Choudhary, where Aleyamma38 made a fair number of edits prior to their block. The main behavior comparison comes from recent edits around Draft:Bhumika Gurung and the deletion review here. The last couple of replies from Commonedits are very similar in style to Aleyamma38 - lots of bolding for emphasis, blaming other editors and seeking "justice", similar to [4]. This style, especially the amount of bolding as they get more and more frustrated, is pretty unique.

There are some similar elements to the pleading style - on Commons, Aleyamma38 started several replies with Sir [5], Commonedits has done that here [6], [7].

Combine the tone, the bolding, and common edits on a few articles, behavior-wise, this is Aleyamma38. Ravensfire (talk) 20:21, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
