Theisles[edit]

User Theisles has made numerous edits first to the article on Lord of Mann and related talk page, and recently on the newly created page David Howe (claimant to King of Mann) article and related talk page. Also, more recently, Lazydown has made numerous edits to the David Howe (claimant to King of Mann) article and talk pages. The users frequently make edits that do not reflect a NPOV (in the opinion of several other editors) by seeking to place the subject of the article's claims in the most favorable light and editing out or reverting edits by others that seek to balance the discussion with verifiable, reliable sources. On several occassions, first Theisles, and now Lazydown, has accused others of violating NPOV or numerous other violations of WP rules. Theisles, Lazydown and the IP address listed above all have detailed knowledge of the subject of the articles, and are believed to be the subject of the article. no Declined - I'm not seeing any evidence of abusive use of multiple accounts from the above, given that Theisles (talk · contribs) has not edited since Lazydown (talk · contribs) came on the scene. Surely, this can be handled in the normal way re. WP:NPOV and WP:3RR without having to recourse to compromising their privacy? - Alison 23:00, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough, but there are many who believe they are the same user and are also the subject of the article. Given that they have not edited at the same time, does it not make sense that one could be the sock puppet for the other? The tone of both of their edits are uncanningly similar, they both consistently accuse others of violating NPOV when edits contary to their viewpoint are made, and Lazydown shows a much greater familiarity with Wikipedia and its editing process than most newcomers. I'd be interested to know what other contributions both Theisles and Lazydown have made to Wikipedia other than related to David Howe and his claims to be the King of Mann. Show me the abusive sock-puppetry or policy violation, please. Note also that fish CheckUser is not for fishing and that checkuser is unable to personally identify editors in the manner you desire - Alison 04:29, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
