Rms125a@hotmail.com is community banned. This edit to Marjorie Tuite is very similar to RMS style edits, and the unusual link format ([1]) make me think the page was created by an RMS sockpuppet to begin with, and the article was definitely edited by RMS as an IP here. His editing habits always lead him back to pages he has edited before, and the Alasdair MacGilleMhìcheil account has edited articles related to Irish republicanism, which are frequent RMS targets.

Rms125a@hotmail.com is community banned. The new editor has thesame editing style on Tim Pat Coogan and other articles, including this and this. There's also an ANI report regarding this. Normally I'd say the WP:DUCK test applies, but I'll be tagging any new pages the editor has created with ((db-banned)) so a checkuser is needed.

Additional information needed: the Rms125a@hotmail.com account is indeed stale. I'll need a recent confirmed IP or account to check the others against. Dmcdevit·t 17:21, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
This account has the same editing patterns as indefinitely blocked User:Rms125a@hotmail.com -- notably accusations of censorship[2], inserting external links in the format "(see [[3]])" or "(as per [[4]])", a free email address as their username, assumption of a fake "Irish-American" persona (just like other confirmed Rms125a socks User:Brandubh Blathmac and User:AodhBlathmac@eirelover.net) and referring to Wikipedia articles as "wikipages". They're now edit-warring to insert the same (incorrect) fact as this edit. See Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Rms125a@hotmail.com for the history of this user.
Also note that the suspected sock claims to be located in Springfield -- Rms's anonymous IPs were mostly located in New York or in Kinko's copy shops. Demiurge 14:20, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
Possible. I don't have any records to check against directly, but the suspected sockpuppet category includes enough IPs for a possible. If anyone has specific IP evidence (like a previous checkuser result that included the IPs used), bring it up here, and I'll check back against it. Mackensen may also be able to help, as he's confirmed some of the socks before. Essjay (Talk • Connect) 06:45, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
