Cromulent Kwyjibo[edit]

The users listed above are currently being discussed at the Administrator's Incident Notice Board for stubifying Star Trek character articles to stub version, blaming it on the "lazy taggers" who won't fix the article, but instead tag it (see this diff). For some time, they did not respond to questions, but, after they have, continue to do this against the consensus. They were warned several times, and, I noticed a few things which I believe warrants a checkuser. First of all, all of their userpages have subtle similarities, for example, the useless lists, among other things. Second, all three are pushing the same thing, which I believe is highly unlikely to be a coincidence. It could be meatpuppetry, but some, such as User:Dreadstar (whom I had an e-mail conversation with discussing this), believe it may be sockpuppetry, hence the reason I am requesting this checkuser, which is that they may actually be one user acting as three, starting edit wars, the main worry being that they may be using sockpuppetry (or meatpuppetry) to promote a certain view. They will not respond to the consensus on Talk:Worf (however, at the time I am writing this, they appear to have calmed down). Also, as for who is the "owner" account, I am not sure, I picked one of the accounts at random as the "owner", and listed the others as sockpuppets. More information about the affected articles can be found at the AN link above. --FastLizard4 (TalkLinksSign) 04:53, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
