It was brought to my attention that a hoax page had been created at Jim Samuel. While looking through the deleted edits, I noticed that the original page was created by User:Asadaleem12@hotmail.com (who was blocked for sockpuppetry and created hoax articles) and deleted as a hoax. The new page was created by User:Self Preteder and there is an almost identical copy in User:Jeff Money's subpages (User:Jeff Money/Jim Samuel). Jeff Money also has a series of other pages in his userspace, some or all of which are hoaxes, which is what the original account was blocked for. Also, on the newly created page in both userspace and mainspace, there is a myspace link to Asadaleem's myspace (aka the original account). Jeff Money's account was created a month after User:Kevin Hotfury (another sock)'s account was blocked. Looking through both Money's and Hotfury's edits, a lot of them are creating pages for wrestling tag teams and wrestling pay-per-views. Nikki311 22:17, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Initially, this user was a hoaxmonger extraordinaire, having an insane number of AfDs attributable to him (found on my unofficial evidence page) After it became obvious no one was buying his hoaxes, he switched his hoaxes to user subpages, but their resemblance to real Wikipedia pages combined with the fact that his sockpuppets shamelessly edited each others' user pages gave cause for alarm. The whole thing kind of collapsed on itself when Calvinsport (talk · contribs) made a death threat, and all the users up to Kevin Hotfury were blocked.
Hotfury and the users below him (except for the IP) resurfaced in June/July with the same MO, while sticking mainly to editing wrestling related articles in the namespace. I don't know anything about wrestling, but I have reason to distrust his edits. Plus, one of Hotfury's user pages explicitly is about "Asad Aleem", and says he was blocked from Wikipedia for "creating hoax articles". If it can be established that these are the same users, it will help stop this guy from trying to perpetrate his hoaxes on WP yet again. JuJube 21:59, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
