This page has not been edited by the user and is itself a redirect from a move from userspace to draftspace. I am not entirely sure the purpose of this Blacksatino account, but this redirect probably does not makes sense. TartarTorte 21:00, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Former misplaced dab, now an unused redirect with no article history (just dab history) - due to if it wasn't misplaced the dab is superfluous per WP:INCDAB redir to dab section. Unused. Widefox; talk 20:49, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A GScholar search does not suggest that these terms are equivalent, with results for the term including Abolitionists, religious freedom activists, civil rights activists. However, none of these terms seem appropriate for a disambiguation page. Delete for lack of a useful target. signed, Rosguill talk 18:50, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My first instinct is to delete this redirect, since it is hopelessly general (there are many styles of headwear in China, past and present). Absent an article on Chinese headwear specifically, it seems problematic to pick out one (particularly one not closely associated with China) as the target of the redirect. I believe the term is not restricted to this specific roller coaster company, and also has uses in other contexts (see Drop (music)#Suggested physical effects, wikt:predrop). ~~~~

Comment – The term is not solely related to B&M, which is definitely not the first manufacturer to use this concept. Much older Arrow Development/Arrow Dynamics coasters also used "pre-drops". The term is sometimes referred to as a "tester hill", and this is covered at Roller coaster elements#Tester hill. --GoneIn60 (talk) 04:11, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Agree with the above, it is not used solely by B&M. To be honest, I am not familiar with the term "tester hill" either, and do not recall seeing that term used outside of Wikipedia (or the dozens of mirror/copy sites). I also noticed that none of the text explaining pre-drop, tester hill, or trick hill at Roller coaster elements#Tester hill is backed up with a citation. As to the redirect, I would be surprised if someone actually searched for the term "pre-drop." Although it could be directed to the elements page, I'm not sure that is even necessary. As mentioned above, the term is used in multiple contexts. Perhaps it should just be deleted. I think we also need to take a good look at the "Roller coaster elements#Tester hill entry and decide if that belongs. At the very least, it should probably be tagged as needing a citation.JlACEer (talk) 19:15, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, you're right. I couldn't find anything reliable outside of Wikipedia using the term "tester hill". That section needs some work for sure. --GoneIn60 (talk) 21:53, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Similar to the 74 redirects nominated below, this a crossnamespace redirect to a long-ago editathon (see #Mainspace redirects to meetups and editathons for the full rationale). This one however has a plausible alternative target - 2019 UCI Road World Championships - which is the primary topic based on my searches, although 2019 UCI World Tour also appears it does so less often. I currently have no prference between retargetting, deletion and disambiguating the cycling events. Thryduulf (talk) 15:47, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Hot plate. plicit 14:09, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Surprising redirect, not mentioned at target. The target contains physical devices you would find in a lab, so adding a cooking device does not seem a reasonable option. TigraanClick here for my talk page ("private" contact) 11:40, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the page history it was always intended to go to Hot plate, but it was set as a redirect to Hotplate which was itself an incorrect redirect to Heating element instead of Hot plate but to fix the WP:2RE, it got resolved that it should go to Heating element despite that being the result of a bad target from Hotplate. Not mentioned in the target article, leaving the connection unclear. Per the redirect's edit history, this redirect may be a WP:FORRED issue since it may be in a foreign language without common use in the English language. Steel1943 (talk) 06:47, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This seems like an excessively specific target for such a generic phrase. Searching both on google and wikipedia found a wide variety of uses, for planes and motorbikes as well as cars. I couldn't find a more suitable target, so I would suggest delete. Note that this term is not actually mentioned at the current target. A7V2 (talk) 04:35, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Appears to be a joke redirect. Certainly not mentioned at the target. The only connection I could find is this blog piece [3] where the author argues that the Vauxhall version of this model should have been named the Alex, in honour of its founder, since the Adam is named after Opel's founder.
