No idea what this redirect is about; it is not mentioned in the article and nothing links to it. --Snigbrook (talk) 22:33, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- This[1] is what it appears to be about. Regardless delete. We cannot redirect everything ever mentioned in a web comic to that web comic no matter how delicious the irony is. - Icewedge (talk) 06:00, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. The page was created to preempt vandalism in the first place, and said vandalism never happened, so no real problems nuking it. Salt it if this does become a vandal target. --UsaSatsui (talk) 12:34, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Per UsaSatsui. No need to redirect every mention of something. Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 12:45, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible. Asenine 16:05, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
- Delete. Very unlikely, and a bit silly to boot. If anything, it should probably redirect to WP:ABOUT. —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 06:46, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. You could go on forever with arbitrary phrases in CamelCase. There are enough problems finding suitable names for some articles without trying to second guess questions that may be answered by a particular page. CrispMuncher (talk) 13:10, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Just as a side note, this was originally a redirect to Wikipedia:Contents/HowCanIExploreWikiPedia; when someone considered deleting it as a cross-namespace redirect, the target was changed to Wikipedia. --UberScienceNerd Talk Contributions 00:28, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment The page was actually once a legitimate title, created in early 2001 when things still had to be CamelCase. The old history is now at Wikipedia:Contents/HowCanIExploreWikiPedia, so I suppose there's no point in keeping it around. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.187.76.80 (talk) 12:45, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible and ridiculous redirect. Asenine 16:01, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
- Delete, I can't see what it is as it appears to be patent mojibake on my browser, but it doesn't seem to be a remotely useful redirect. —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 06:48, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep it's Armenian for "Wikipedia". We generally do make redirects of this nature. [2] -- Ned Scott 07:53, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Communism is not a religion, this is implausible. Asenine 15:55, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - The redirect appears to be a potential political statement. --UberScienceNerd Talk Contributions 21:26, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep because the pagehistory behind the redirect helps to document the creation and resolution of a POV fork from back in 2004. Keeping these kinds of pages in our history helps new readers/editors to learn from and hopefully avoid past mistakes. Rossami (talk) 14:28, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible redirect, whether the creator 'hacked last.fm' or not. Asenine 15:50, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - The screenshot of the "Ihackedlastfm" last.fm page I found was eventually deemed unimportant anyway. --Anthony5429 (talk) 03:47, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No relation to the band (from what I can tell), and only one hit on [3]. Asenine 15:41, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
- Weird, I get this for Canadian search, but then again, I get this too. Because of the second search result, delete as there is little for me to tell whats the relation. Pie is good (Apple is the best) 20:33, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete. Ridiculous what redirects are created these days... —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 06:52, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Retarget to wikitionary entry may be warranted as this entry lists tonkpils as being something else. Pie is good (Apple is the best) 20:30, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Straight delete. Wiktionary does not have a page on this alleged word and given the paucity of sourcing (UrbanDictionary has been explicitly rejected as failing their version of the "reliable source" criterion), I doubt they will accept one on the word. POV redirect, highly unlikely that anyone is actually going to search this anyway. Asenine 15:26, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
- Keep. The phrase is mentioned in the target article as a quotation from both William Shakespeare & William Blake. In the absence of conflicting uses, it should remain. -- JLaTondre (talk) 16:24, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. I searched for "Green and Pleasant Land" and found nothing till I created this, it should be kept as it is in fairly common usage when mentioning England. (Midnightblueowl (talk) 20:30, 10 August 2008 (UTC))[reply]
- Keep as a seemingly notable Shakespeare quote term. —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 06:50, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Somewhat notable Shakespeare quote. I think people might search this term. Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 12:47, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Weak keep for the time being, although a brief (even stub) article on the meaning, origins, and uses of the phrase would be better. A straight redirect to England does the user a disservice since they may well be looking for details of the phrase itself rather than what it references. On the flip side, a near equivalent for another country that comes to mind would be "forty shades of green" which has no entry whatsoever. That is not conclusive evidence in favour of deletion, though. CrispMuncher (talk) 13:49, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment - These search results seem to refer England as a green and pleasant land. Pie is good (Apple is the best) 20:26, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the debate was Disambiguate to
Meteoroid and
Kryptonite.
Dreadstar † 17:28, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

Confusing redirect. I've never heard of kryptonite referred to as "meteor rock". Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 12:33, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Kryptonite is refered to Meteor rock in the TV series "Smallville" therefore people who don't know it's real name but have seen seasons 1 and 2 of Smallville might search for the word "Meteor rock" instead of "Kryptonite". Elbutler (talk) 16:46, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Would a retarget to Meteoroid make sense here? --UsaSatsui (talk) 20:44, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Retarget to Meteoroid. Much more sensible. —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 06:54, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- How about disambiguation? After all, both uses of the term seem reasonable to me. Besides (at least in the early seasons of the show), kryptonite is exclusively referred to as "meteor rock", and it might still be a term used without clarification in today's show (if it's still running). --Raijinili (talk) 19:44, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Disambiguate. The show is still running and a 7th season has been scheduled for the fall. In the context of the show, only a few people call it "kryptonite". — Arthur Rubin (talk) 07:43, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Retarget to meteoroid. Real life should take precedence over fiction. Meteor rock may not be a scientific term for the physical object but is nevertheless a term in use among the general population. I suspect if you were looking for details of kryptonite you would begin at the Superman or Smallville entries anyway. CrispMuncher (talk) 13:19, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Is it policy that real life take precedence over fiction? I would only retarget if this was placed at the top of the page: "Meteor rock redirects here. For the Smallville plot device, see Kryptonite." Also, we don't make rules for what people should do, only what they would be likely to do, which means we don't exclude possibilities without reason. --Raijinili (talk) 16:50, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
