Thank You Stefan2, I read the source link you provided. However, I have a question... The picture in question is that of a school crest so how does the source link you provided apply to it? I don't really see how it is considered a work of art, when it has been treated as anything other than a work of art? I'm not trying to be difficult I just want to understand thoroughly. Basically, anything that is more than just type and simple geometric shapes is, for the purposes of intellectual property law, is "art". If a kid so much as scribbles something on a napkin, the rights to that work belongs to the kid.
