Atmospheric thermocline

Original - An atmospheric thermocline, known as an inversion, within the planetary boundary layer, on the South Side of Chicago that extends from the Hyde Park community area to over the Regents Park twin towers and out over Lake Michigan

At 11:33 AM, 29 June 2012 local time, a fascinating atmospheric occurrence was pointed out to me. I grabbed my camera and took a shot. Since the wikipedia articles needed some better images on the subject, it seems to have encyclopedic value.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 05:47, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
