There have been no responses to any inquiries on the project talk page in 2011. The project should be marked as ((inactive)). TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 00:43, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ADDENDUM according to Wikipedia:WikiProject_Council/Directory/WikiProject#When_is_a_project_inactive.3F the proper way to pursue inactive status is through WP:MFD.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 02:14, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm. Maybe I misread this earlier. How do I pursue making a project inactive?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 02:20, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Some WP:XFD processes, such as WP:CFD include discussions to rename and merge as on point. I thought for a WikiProject a discussion to mark as inactive might be appropriate. The objective is not to delete, much like at CFD the point might be to rename, the objective is to mark as inactive.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 02:28, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The best way to get a project marked inactive is to be bold and just tag it with ((inactive)). There's no need for a discussion. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WikiProject Japan! 02:44, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
