User has left Wikipedia, no need to keep an inactive user page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by N (talk • contribs)
- Keep. No reason to delete the page either. Besides, user may come back. --UsaSatsui (talk) 03:38, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy keep - Just because a user has "left" doesn't mean you have to delete it. No where in our policies state that you have to delete a user page of a user who has "left". They can come back any day anyway. The only time when I user page has to be deleted is when the owner of it requests for it to be deleted, or if the user page is disruptive. -- RyRy5 (talk) 05:32, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep if you want a page to be deleted, the onus is on you to demonstrate why it should be deleted. Deleting this will have no benefit to Wikipedia whatsoever. And yes, the user might return. Hut 8.5 09:57, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - "User retired" is not a reason for deletion. Mr.Z-man 22:43, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy Keep, the userpage does not violate any wiki-policy and retirement is not a reason for deletion. Two more "keeps" and no deletes and i'm going to make a non-admin closure considering we've got obvious consensus. Ironholds 00:07, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - no reason to delete inactive user pages.--Mars2035 (talk) 04:40, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy keep what? -- Ned Scott 09:14, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Absolute, most definite Keep 1. No need; 2. Used as an example in WP:UPDC and permilink will be messed up; 3. Why, this notifies people this user is not active. No userpage may cause people to think the user is still active. StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign Listen 14:56, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
