Draft:Josef Schmalz[edit]
- Draft:Josef Schmalz (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
Repeatedly submitted for review at AFC without any substantial changes and better sourcing. Numerous IPs have repeatedly played us for fools by posting the draft on Talk:Josef Schmalz which led to Josef Schmalz being created, just to get deleted at AFD as non-notable. - In support of the deletion. It doesn't pass any of AfC's criteria. EROS message 06:34, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Given that the outcome of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Josef Schmalz was delete on grounds of notability I don't see how we'd expect any other outcome for a draft which is substantially identical. Those that believe the subject is notable would need to produce additional sources. Their rationale that sources are hard to find because the subject pre-dated the Internet is hard to swallow given that we have great articles on Plato, Socrates or Bach with no shortage of references indicating notability.
- On a related note, I have somewhat more hope for Draft:Original Donauschwaben passing WP:NBAND, and Schmalz being their conductor I would expect content on him to properly live there, though not to the same extent as the standalone draft nominated here. - Delete had we redirected the Draft at mainspace as is commonly done it wouod have been deleted dependant on a deleted page. Way too many resubmissions. Legacypac (talk) 00:59, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
