Request details

Debate around whether Welsh is considered an official language or not.

Who are the involved parties?

What's going on?

Issues surrounding whether Welsh is an official language. No agreement has been reached on whether it is legally or de facto accepted, an agreement was initially in motion about following a similar example to that of Scotland with placing English as the Official Language and Welsh as Other language, although this fell at the last moment. Attempting to list evidence on both sides of the argument, however there seems to be a lack of such evidence from the for agrument.

What would you like to change about that?

Move from conjecture to sourced information Reach a suitable conclusion based on the evidence and sourced information on the matter

Discussion

Please note that a compromise has now been reached and put into effect --Snowded (talk) 02:35, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I notice some other areas of standing dispute. Do you feel things will be good on their own, or that a bit of assistance may be helpful? Vassyana (talk) 09:30, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The main protagonist was a sock puppet and has now been banned, so I think both disputes are over now/ --Snowded (talk) 04:05, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
