Request: Create an alternative version of this file named File:Four Provinces Flag 2.svg by arranging the arms so that the flag of Connacht is in the upper left quarter, the flag of Ulster is in the upper right quarter, the flag of Munster is in the bottom left quarter and the flag of Leinster is in the bottom right quarter.

Request: The royal coat of arms is in svg format, but hardly looks like a vector graphic. The current Bulgarian coat of arms http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Coat_of_arms_of_Bulgaria.svg is very similar to the royal one and can be used for comparison. And the imperial coat of arms is somewhat similar to the royal arms of England: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Royal_Arms_of_England_(1198-1340).svg Kreuzkümmel (talk) 00:22, 23 May 2012 (UTC)

Article(s): Clique problem
Request: The decision tree appears inaccurate. Following the leftmost branch, the existence of a triangle is ruled out by the absence of the diagonal of positive slope, despite the possibility remaining of either of the two triangles using the negative-slope diagonal.
By my reckoning, the "N" thereof (the leftmost N present) should be replaced with an additional circle, formatted consistently with the others in the image, in which the left vertical and upper horizontal lines are black, the right vertical and lower horizontal lines are blue, the negative-slope diagonal is red, and the positive-slope diagonal is absent. The children of this node should be "Y" and "N" leaves.
76.254.32.172 (talk) 04:36, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
Are you sure that's right? It looks to me as if the presence of the negative slope diagonal is necessary but not sufficient: it still needs the right vertical or bottom horizontal to give a triangle. --Slashme (talk) 11:19, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Article(s): The Bahamas, Coat of arms of the Bahamas
Request: I ask that someone woth a fair degree of knowledge about SVG files, convert/ turn these images into svg files, if it's possible. I believe the quality of them would be much better as svg files. These are Island Crests/Arms of some islands of the Bahamas and as many of you may notice there isn't much about Bahamian heraldry on Wikipedia, so it would be good if someone can turn them into SVG's, thank you. Graphist opinion(s): Is that a coat of arms? - SSJ t 23:17, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
OK, call it an emblem... Of course, this is not a coat of arms, but there is no general naming convention. Numerous emblems on Commons are named "Coat of arms".--Antemister (talk) 19:28, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
The crown is OK, see File:South Azeri documents.jpg. But use the same colors, I prefer the yellow from the crown.--Antemister (talk) 19:48, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Article(s): Frequency, removed recently from Hertz
Request: I made this pedagogical animation, but people have complained that it is distracting and annoying, making it hard for them to read the article when this image is flashing on the side. Does anyone have suggestions to modify the image so that it is not distracting from the corner of the eye, but still conveys the information when you look right at it? I thought of maybe reducing the contrast between on and off, or reducing the size of the light, but I don't know if there's any better idea. (Cf. the image at the top of second. That got the same complaints, but no one has complained since I drastically shrunk the size of the image.) Steve (talk) 21:14, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
Graphist opinion(s): Maybe making it in black and white would help. It would blend in with the remaining text and not irritate readers. Roshan220195 (talk)
Done: I did various things: Switched to black and white (that was good advice!), adjusted the timing, reduced the contrast, reduced the size of the dots. We'll see whether people still complain! Thanks! --Steve (talk) 20:16, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

Request: In an attempt to create a consistent Visiual Identity for the CVU. For our recent relaunch, the CVU has broken down into 5 "Divisions", each handling a part of the CVU's mission. My vision is the the bottom iteration of "Counter Vandalism Unit" could be made to read "Think Tank", "Task Force", "Vandalism Studies", and "Tools" and that the thin outline of the blue circle on that image be changed to a unique color for each (Artistic license is entirely yours). Ideal image destination would be File:CVU Think Tank, etc. This request would create images similiar to File:CVU Academy, that you fine folks made for us in April. (help) Antidiskriminator (talk) 09:36, 11 June 2012 (UTC)Graphist opinion(s): That should be straight-forward. The only problem is the that I (and probably most graphists) have zero knowledge of Cyrillic, or the context of the graphics to make intelligent decisions. What are the dotted lines? Should each of the dotted line enclosed areas be shaded (colored) differently? Should the map be in Cyrillic or Latin? In either case, you'd need to provide a list of the words for the graphists planning on taking this task. Jon C (talk) 16:56, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Article(s): Flag of Denmark
Request: Please can you translate the text on the above image into English. 'Rød' should be 'red'* and 'hvid' should be white. Please can this new version be saved as File:Flag of Denmark-proportions-en.svg (I can fill in details there, if that helps).
*Below 'red' and just below the line can you add 'Panotone 185U'. Thanks. -- Peter Talk page 00:39, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
Graphist opinion(s): Done I assumed that you meant Pantone 185U (since the color book matches that red). Thank you for offering to fill in the details - this was uploaded as a derivative work, so much of those should carry over from the Danish version. It would be great if you can have a check though.
