Keep since the photo gives the reader an idea of what the house looked liked instead of just a description. The photo helps the reader understand the house theme and overall the season's theme. Jayab314 20:28, 18 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Keep Readers do not gain full understanding without the image. The image significantly increases the readers understanding of the topic and therefore meets NFCC#8 criteria for inclusion. Also pinging @Alucard 16: who previously participated in the discussion on the file talk page. TheDoctorWho (talk) 00:55, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Keep looks difficult to describe in prose. If article discusses the remodeling or aesthetics of the season's set, a photo is helpful in conveying that. Wug·a·po·des 19:38, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. -- Ssilvers (talk) 15:36, 20 July 2019 (UTC) I think it needs to be kept in en.Wikipedia, because it is not clear that it is in the public domain in its country of origin (England), since the author is unknown. The image was published in 1892, so it is very likely that the author died more than 70 years ago, but not certain. CptViraj, I have seen many times where someone deleted an image from en.Wikipedia on the basis that it was duplicated at Commons (that image is used in Haddon Hall (opera)), but then it was deleted from Commons for lack of copyright certainty in the country of publication, and the image was lost to Wikipedia readers. -- Ssilvers (talk) 16:05, 18 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Ssilvers: File:M. Browne - Herbert Railton - Sydney Grundy - Arthur Sullivan - Haddon Hall.jpg is used in Haddon Hall (opera) (and yes, should be kept locally), but we're talking about the file File:HaddonHallVern.JPG which is not used on any page. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 09:42, 20 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free image of pirate radio aerials failing WP:NFCC#8 as the use of this image is not needed for a reader to understand the the topic of Pirate radio in the United Kingdom. Furthermore, there is a free image File:Mi Amigo kleine.jpg being used to illustrate the article. Whpq (talk) 23:44, 18 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I tried to replace the Mi Amigo image with the aerial one, but it was subject to an undo [[1]] on grounds of failing 'manual of style HG' but having reviewed that I'm no clearer. The bulk of the article is about land based pirate radio (particularly 80s/90s onwards), not offshore pirate radio, so I wanted to illustrated the article better and surely this image is better representative than the offshore one. Having been failed first time around, I decided to add the additional image to the article too. So it looks like I can't win :D Are we really unable now to have more than one image which might help to illustrate the article - I would have thought it illustrated that shift from offshore pirate radio to land based pirate radio? I'm truly baffled by this place sometimes! 94.72.231.204 (talk) 07:27, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Non-free image usage is governed by Wikipedia:Non-free content, and each image used must meet all the criteria listed at Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria. Just putting in an image to illustrate something is not sufficient to meet the criterion 8 on contextual significance -- Whpq (talk) 00:58, 20 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
