• Comment: I've checked the German version, it uses File:Tcp_verbindung.png, which has the Ack in question. • Comment In this case I'd love to object, because the USMC picture can hardly be said to be "representative" of the subject. He's notable for his baseball career, not his military service.     • Actually, Damiens, that is not what the WP:NFCC says: Can this non-free content be replaced by a free version that has the same effect?...If the answer...is yes, the non-free content probably does not meet this criterion. Clearly you do not get the same effect if he is in the military uniform image you are proposing.     • In addition WP:FUR states that FU is permissible if it illustrates the topic of the article. Certainly this article's notability is Clemente's baseball legacy (all), not his military legacy (none). The article exists because of his baseball legacy (all), not his military legacy (none). As such, only an image of the subject in baseball uniform can illustrate the main topic of the article (his baseball legacy). He became notable because of his baseball skills; everything else revolves around that. Thus a free image of Clemente as a soldier doesn't illustrate the topic of the article any better than a free image of Clemente as a boy or as a corpse or as any other depiction other than a baseball player.   • The copyright notice should indicate the year of first publication. A photo taken before 1973 might not have been published before 2001. In my opinion this image does not provide any significant contextual information over and above a free image of Peter Capaldi would (fails Wikipedia:Non-free_content_criteria#policy point 8). While the image is of Peter Capaldi playing the Doctor it is not of the 12th Doctor in the costume that he will be known for wearing.
