• Looks like you've had a ton of good content-building contributions! I'd like to congratulate you on all the awards you've received. It definitely looks like you are a very thoughtful and tireless contributor. The recognition you've received from other users is definitely a plus. If you're ever thinking about becoming an administrator, you may consider getting more involved in other sections of the encyclopedia. Requests for adminship, articles for deletion, CSD tagging, vandalism fighting, and even here at editor review is a good place to get more policy experience. I would especially like to congratulate you on responding calmly to comments such as this. Everyone will run into editors that seem to have no regard for civility, and how one deals with it can make a world of difference. Questions

1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?

   My primary contributions have been in the areas under the bailiwick of WP:BASEBALL and WP:FL. I try to be as active of a reviewer at WP:FLC as I can, though I tend to be gun-shy when it comes to topics I have limited knowledge about. I like to consider myself primarily a content editor; earlier in my career, I patrolled recent changes, did some speedies and such at new page patrol, and the like. Now, I focus mainly on writing and improving articles. I spend a lot of time playing in my own sandbox; I tend to be a solitary worker when it comes to list writing. I've recently become more active at WP:DYK; I like to do this because many times, an article on which I have spent a lot of time working in said sandbox will qualify for DYK. My major project right now is working with Staxringold, iMatthew, SRE.K.A.L.24, and other assorted members of the Baseball WikiProject to get all of the Major League Baseball awards promoted in hopes of a large featured topic (its two subtopics are already complete or nearly so).

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

   I have been involved in editing disputes; two of the most recent were at Albert Pujols, where I was actively involved as an interested party, and at Pete Rose, where I attempted to act more as a mediator between two editors than to prove my point. Over my time on the Wiki, I have learned that it can become harder and harder to keep a cool head, because the longer you're here and the more you do, the more your contributions are noticed. The only things that really cause me stress are rule-breakers (because I'm a former teacher and I just can't stand it!) and stubborn people (because I am one myself). I'm continually learning here, and that's why I like Wikipedia. Though I was a teacher, I'll always be a student at heart, and I have a learner's mentality. I absorb as much new information as I can, whether I consider it easy or difficult to see things from someone else's point of view.
