The result of the discussion was: Rename. Timrollpickering (Talk) 11:14, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Standardization with other similar categories. Moreover, the description of the category and the Wikimedia Commons entry both use trade unionist. TM 23:09, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Adding Category:American labor unionists by state and the accompanying sub-categories to this proposal as well.--TM 00:01, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: delete (non-admin closure). Marcocapelle (talk) 07:02, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: WP:SMALLCAT--this category contains only one article. Hamanaka does not appear to be the author of enough works to populate this category in a meaningful way. Enwebb (talk) 23:00, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: WP:SMALLCAT. While the two eponymously titled songs for the genre certainly are about Azonto, this category just doesn't have the content to justify its own category. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 20:08, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: Merge. Timrollpickering (Talk) 11:13, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: The current category description reads "This category covers topics related to the teaching of chemistry" and it's a subcategory of Category:Chemistry. Themightyquill (talk) 16:55, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: Delete. Timrollpickering (Talk) 11:12, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Not a defining aspect of the albums in this category. Most of the albums don't even mention anything about arrangements, only listed in a personnel section, and there aren't categories for each role someone plays in the production of an album. The entire scheme for Category:Albums by arranger may be in need of review. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 04:41, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Because I haven't looked at every other one. I said it should be reviewed - maybe all of them should be deleted or maybe just a few; in the meantime, I came across this one, felt it should be deleted and decided to nominate it. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 06:53, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Second Point, With regard to the tree, many of the categories relate to people who were arrangers, not songwriters, not performers and not producers, back in the day when arrangers meant something different and special (even if their pay was lower!). I mention this, because I most certainly don't think the tree should be deleted, but like this particular category, some sub-cats might need pruning back. --Richhoncho (talk) 17:05, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
On further investigation, I note that in some cases, 'Albums arranged by XXX' has been extended to mean 'Albums containing a song arranged by XXX' which does suggest many of the categories would be better served with an list, 'Recordings arranged by XXX'--Richhoncho (talk) 19:12, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
