- Propose renaming Category:United States regional rail systems to Category:Commuter rail systems in the United States
- Nominator's rationale: Some time ago Wikipedia recognized that regional rail and commuter rail are not the same thing, the regional rail article specifically specifies that "regional rail" is pretty much not a thing in the US, the systems in Category:United States regional rail systems are commuter rail systems, and the proposed name follows the general pattern of Category:X-thing in X-location. - Nominator's rationale: These are all underpopulated and pointless, these articles are already interlinked easily and there is not need for them.★Trekker (talk) 15:30, 15 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
- Support, all these categories contain around 3 articles. Marcocapelle (talk) 06:04, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

- The result of the discussion was: Speedy rename C2D. Timrollpickering 13:13, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
- Nominator's rationale: At Talk:Isle of Lewis#Requested move 18 July 2018 the place in Scotland was moved from Lewis to Isle of Lewis as requested by me. The common name appears to be "Isle of Lewis" with "Lewis" being used locally (on local maps). The name was disputed and although there was consensus to move, there was no consensus on if "Isle of Lewis" is the best name, which is why WP:C2D probably doesn't apply. There is Category:Lewis, Vermont so the old title should become a ((Category ambiguous)). Even if "Isle of Lewis" isn't its most common name then WP:NATURAL would appear to apply, similar to Isle of Bute/Category:Isle of Bute. With the 2nd and 4th maybe they should be "on the Isle of Lewis" instead. The 3rd is already comma disambiguated, but should be moved to the full "Isle of..." per my reasoning. - Support per nominator. I reckon this is a C2D speedy, but even if that doesn't apply I see no benefit in a mismatch between category and head article. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 12:21, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

- Nominator's rationale: There is no need for a category that has only two entries. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 05:04, 15 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
