The result of the discussion was: Rename. Timrollpickering 20:21, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: This category survived a merger nomination at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2018_May_20#Category:Laundry_worker. However, the name needs further consideration, as it contains articles on occupational titles, not biographies. The category name should be either Laundry occupations or Laundry jobs, to make it clear that this is part of Category:Occupations rather than Category:People by occupation. – Fayenatic London 23:15, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
SUPPORT per nom. I was the one who dug into the Category:Laundry a few months ago and I guess triggered this minor cascade of changes, which is long overdue. Wikipedia has done well on military history and US pop culture, and can afford to turn its attention to textiles and food. BTW I definitely support the use of "occupation" or "job" in most of these article and category names, and not "profession", a la Cooper (profession). But I digress. Nominator's rationale: (Afaics) we have no articles about Nigerian demonyms.  Article categories (i.e. not categories specifically for redirects, dabs etc) are to help people navigate to articles. In some cases there may be a good reason to include a few redirects in an article category, but there is no need for such a category that contains only redirects. The result of the discussion was: Speedy rename C2C. Timrollpickering 15:35, 3 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: "Artists" categories on Wikipedia are for visual artists, not musicians -- categories for musicians need to be named as "musicians", not as "artists". Bearcat (talk) 14:14, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
