- Nominator's rationale: The articles are related to WikiProject which can be more than the topic of Jordan itself. The WikiProject category already has all the WikiProject articles so it seems like the importance and quality subcategories are better there than separated. - Nominator's rationale: Another set of singles certifications missed by the singles by certification CFD. The remainder of Category:Certified singles by certifying authority is gone absent the RIAA ones at CFD but these categories weren't connected there by the numbers for some reason. These are WP:NON-DEFINING characteristics for the singles based on the reasoning from the Australia single certifications, this discussion, Musiikkituottajat Albums by gold certification and the albums and singles certifications discussions above. - Nominator's rationale: That, for example, Boston College or MIT is a member of this association is a WP:NON-DEFINING characteristic (it isn't mentioned in the text, but is in a list of affiliations in the infobox). A list could be created at Association of Independent Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts (or a separate page), but it would be better to create any such list from a RS (note: there is also a list in Template:AICUM). - Nominator's rationale: Vidarbha is a region (region is defined on basis of historic, social and sentimental grounds) in the Maharashtra state of India and not an administrative division. See List of districts of Maharashtra. The administrative hierarchy in India goes down like; Country--> State --> Division --> District -->Taluka --> Village. In smaller states "Division" is totally eliminated. In this context I don't see why the Talukas should be categorized under region, which is not a defining feature and is just WP:OCAT. Also see past CfDs at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2015_July_17#Category:Talukas_in_Vidarbha, Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2015_July_17#Category:Talukas_in_Marathwada, Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2015_July_20#Category:Visitor_attractions_in_Marathwada. Keep: As far as sports is concerned Vidarbha has separate facilities, for example there is Vidarbha cricket team on national level and also an independent Vidarbha Cricket Association which has no connection with Maharashtra Cricket Association. We can rename category to Category:Cricket venues in Vidarbha and can keep all cricket stadiums in it, rest of stadiums can be merged to Maharashtra category. There are Maharashtra Vs Vidarbha first class cricket matches on national level,[1], [2] so there is no question of merging cricket venues of these regions.--Human3015TALK 09:35, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Instead of Category:Cricket venues in Vidarbha you probably mean Category:Cricket grounds in Vidarbha as that would be inline with Category:Cricket grounds in Maharashtra.
