Operator: LegoKontribsTalkM

Automatic or Manually Assisted: Manually assisted

Programming Language(s): Python using pywikipedia

Function Summary: Moves images to the Wikimedia Commons, that have ((move to commons)) on them.

Edit period(s) (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): Whenever I am online

Already has a bot flag (Y/N): N

Function Details: There already is a bot that is doing this, User:BotMultichill, (BRFA), this will be using the same code. Currently CAT:COMMONS has over a thousand images needing moving, so it would be faster if there are two bots going at the same time. Commons BRFA located at commons:Commons:Bots/Requests for flags/Legobot 2 LegoKontribsTalkM 04:00, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Approved for trial (5 days). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. Richard0612 20:20, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Just realized that when bugzilla:15227 (adding action=upload to API) is added, it will be easier, so I am putting this on hold untill then. LegoKontribsTalkM 00:37, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That bug has been opened since 2008-08-18, any word from the devs on a timeline? MBisanz talk 08:14, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Legoktm, that bot request could take a while. Should we close this and reopen it if/when the API upload gets implemented? Or do you want to go for it now? – Quadell (talk) 13:57, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You can close this for now. I will open it again when it gets added to the API. LegoKontribsTalkM 23:31, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, marking it Withdrawn by operator. for now. Anomie 23:34, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
