Operator: Wikihermit

Automatic or Manually Assisted: Automatic - Unsupervised

Programming Language(s): AWB

Function Summary: Delivers template messages.

Edit period(s) (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): One Time Run

Edit rate requested: 10 edits per Minute

Already has a bot flag (Y/N): N

Function Details:The bot will be used to deliver templates to specific pages. For example, if Wikipedia:X has a newsletter, a category would be created of users who want want the newsletter delivered. I would go into AWB --> Make List --> Category --> then that category would be made into a list. Next I would select the "More" tab on AWB and select "Append." I would add the template to append in the text box below that, and depending on the Wikiproject's wishes, would or wouldn't add "subst:". I would use the same idea for Wikiprojects if I needed to add a template like ((WikiProject Radio)) or another onto a talk page.

Definitely. Approved for trial. Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. 100 edits or so should be good. —METS501 (talk) 03:20, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ahh...so that's why Wikihermit asked me how to add things to pages using AWB today :). --R ParlateContribs@ (Let's Go Yankees!) 03:37, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
^_^ I figured I should use AWB to its fullest extent. Wikihermit(Speak) £ 03:47, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
