Weak keep The independent coverage in sources like Cycling BC, Survey Now-Leader, and Vancouver Free Daily are just enough to pass WP:GNG, although I would like to see greater WP:GEOSCOPE to have a stronger !vote. Qwaiiplayer (talk) 12:54, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Delete or redirect. There is media coverage, but with a quite limited regional focus that doesn't justify WP:GEOSCOPE and no WP:DIVERSE. I agree that there is a main editor with a close connection to this subject, so a redirect to BC Cancer Foundation may be an alternative WP:ATD. Chiserc (talk) 10:01, 10 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Funny you mentioned this. It's my first wiki article, so of course I templated it based on a similar event (Tour de Cure). Which was what led me to create this page, because when I search for the (Canadian) event I was attending, I was seeing American event details since the two share the same name. And surely, if the the Vancouver Sun Run qualified for their own page, it made sense for this one to have its own since they both have the same regional scope and notability.

I'm so disgusted with myself right now. I can't believe I turned off the Monaco Grand Prix just to see if I could keep my first wiki page. Dekay00 (talk) 20:02, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
