The result was Keep. Overall the consensus is that there are sufficient sources to demonstrate notability. Eluchil404 (talk) 07:57, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There does not appear to be a claim to other than the most localized significance. DGG ( talk ) 07:47, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Well, breweries tend to be of interest to beer drinkers, and Steamworks is extensively reviewed by such people (about 40 per site named) on urbanspoon.com, tripadvisor.com, ratebeer.com, dinehere.ca, yelp.co.uk (that's across the Atlantic) and so on. Obviously those reviews are ordinary people so WP doesn't trust'em, I know, but it certainly shows widespread interest. That many write-ups would be pretty hard to fake. Then there's the local detail of vancouverbeerblog.com. Yeah, it's a blog. So is thebeerauthority.com which seems to be from Chicago, not too local. The (reputable) lonelyplanet.com editorial is brief but favourable. StormBrewing.org notes that its rival Steamworks got #3 prize in 2006 and 2007 Golden Plates awards (two years running), which is approaching notable. I'd say it'd be a shame to delete it; with beer, local is better, no? Chiswick Chap (talk) 14:38, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've read that article. It's mainly a quote from the proprietor. I don't consider it independent coverage DGG ( talk ) 23:48, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Those (and the link provided by Colonel Warden) are all from the same newspaper, so could be regarded as one source, and as they are all about the beer created for the 100th anniversary of the Vancouver Sun, maybe not independent coverage. Peter E. James (talk) 17:29, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Even if that were true, the links I've provided (and the others that I've named) aren't from that source. Chiswick Chap (talk) 18:25, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
