Keep Nomination has bizarre logic. The frequency of this event is evidence of notability rather than otherwise. If the event had occured only once, the nomination might say that it was just a flash-in-the-pan news event. Colonel Warden (talk) 21:43, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Delete per WP:NOTDIRECTORY and WP:NOTADVERTISING; article appears to be a list of those people winning the competition only, and seems to simply promote the competition. --/Mendaliv/2¢/Δ's/ 21:46, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Keep. Nominated on the wrong grounds. It is most assuredly notable. If the content sounds too much like advertising then it should be changed, but deleting it on the grounds of lacking notability is a poor precedent for the article's future if anyone wishes to write a better version. -Rushyo (talk) 18:59, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. World championship of Yu-Gi-Oh!: has obvious notability and needs an article in Wikipedia. However, a mounthly tournament has problems of notability: it is more suitable in Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia, not in Wikipedia. Zero Kitsune (talk) 03:37, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
